Windmill at Tulip Garden, Golden Gate Park
Rose Garden at Golden Gate Park
Tulip Garden at Golden Gate Park The tulips were very showy, but almost done blooming.
Downtown for lunch at Max's theater cafe. The seal of California is pictured over our heads in the photo below.
City Hall and you can see the trolley car lines overhead. It's amazing how the trolley cars stay on the wires.
We cabbed up to the highest point in the city, Twin Peaks, for a picnic supper at sunset. Too cloudy for a pretty sunset, but the view was breathtaking. The peak is surrounded by San Francisco Bay and the city was gorgeous lit up at night.
View from Twin Peaks. Market Street is the brightly lit street in the middle of the photo.
The sandwiches Don made were yummy with fritos and chocolate for dessert. To drink? Beer!
We were actually up in the clouds on the top of Twin Peaks. It was misty and looks like snow, but it wasn't. Still chilly. Hoping for warmer weather when we reach Arizona. Tomorrow we'll be going to San Francisco Zoo and then cooking out at the Grillmore at the Filmore.
