Canyonland National Park 5/7

Canyonland National Park was spectacular.  We found dinosaur bones and a whole fossilized turtle in the rock.  You are really on top of the world here.  Looking down there are several plateaus and it keeps going down, down, down.

We took the short, Mesa Arch trail.

Here we are under the Mesa Arch.

We had lunch, pbj's, at White Rim Overlook, which is where we saw the fossils.

This is at Grand View Overlook.  You can see the Colorado River and Monument Basin from here.  Don said it was the best site so far and Pam found it dizzying!  The Totumpole monument in this basin is the largest in the basin.

Cows in and along the road are a frequent site.  MOOOVE Over!

Photo below is on the way to Red Cliff Ranch, which is where we're going to pamper ourselves for a nite!

The ranch digs are sure comfy.  Night night.
