The Green River (also the City is named Green River) runs into the Colorado River. We stayed in Green River for a few days before heading to Moab. Below are pictures from our hotel room there.
We read about an abandoned nuclear test/storage site about 15 miles from town, so of course we had to go by. Here are Don and I standing at the opened door to one of the old buildings. Are we glowing?!

It also seems run down and unsafe!
We also went by the Crystal Geyser near Green River. Literature stated it gushed up about 100 feet or more every hour or so. However, locals informed us the tourists threw metal and other junk in it and it no longer does much. Darn tourists! You can see there is some water at the base of the structure, so there is still some activity from this man-made geyser.
