Drive from Delta to Green River UT through San Rafael Swell & Fishlake National Forest & Devils Canyon on May 2nd

Selfies from the top.

Wow!  The folks in Delta told us we would be astounded by the drive to Moab area.  We were amazed!  The weather is supposed to get nasty for the next couple days, so we wanted to do this drive today with sunshine and good views.  We were not disappointed.  Incredible.  This land is your land, this land...

Don't get too close to the edge!  This drive is taking us through the San Rafael Swell, which is twice as large as Rhode Island.  Strikingly beautiful land of soaring cliffs, towers and monolithic buttes.

The scenery was the best we've seen so far!  Incredible drive through Utah going from West to East.
So nice to have my sandals on instead of socks and (rockhounding) shoes!

The pictures don't do the views justice.  We've got a couple days here and we'll explore the Crystal Geyser (apparently broken by tourists according to our hotel clerk...tourists %^$*!), State Park, and Green River beach (?!).  We're pretty close to Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park so we may check them out now, or wait till we're in Moab.  Lots to see and do!

Special shout out to Dave for his help fixing our Magic Jack answering machine.  Thanks, Dave!  We miss our posse.
