Drive from Moab through Monument Valley to Kayenta

It was a three and a half hour drive from Moab to the Grand Canyon and we had two days to drive that distance so we decided to stop in Kayenta. We picked Kayenta because it had a dot on the map near Monument Valley.  We were pleasantly surprised at the nice accommodations and location at the Kayenta Monument Inn.

Happy Mothers Day.  The Inn gave Pam a yellow rose and earlier some black eyed susans were picked from the roadside.
